I ordered the ITG air filter from Scooby Sports and they sent me the Pro Filter WB 384. Is this the correct filter for the WRX MY00 Impreza. It came in a rectangle shaped box which seems a bit strange considering the siza of the air box in the car. I did not want to open the package as it was mailed to me and shrink wrapped. Thanks in advance

The ITG Box is alot longer then the actual filter, but the width should be the same as the Airbox.

I fitted a 384 Profilter on Friday.

Question

Scott,

How's the ECU settling in, have you noticed any increase in performance now that its got a few miles under its belt?

Would be interested on your thoughts on the ITG. I'm still faffing about not commiting to anything at the moment - although my investigations into cold air induction have been a bit painful (price-wise + the old not for you MY sir )

So I'm likely to go back to panel + snorkelectomy (which will probably mean foam & goo as opposted to cotton gauze as I believe this to be safer in there is a rare case of water induction).

Chris,

Very please with the PPP upgrade. The car feels alot smoother and stronger even compared to when I was running 15psi.

Torque is alot better from lower down too. Boost is prob about 13-14psi (graham reckoned on 0.9-0.95 Bar which is about right).

Can't really tell much on the ITG front as both mods went in at roughly the same time, although the ITG has got to be better than the Halfords paper filter it replaced.

Talking

Hope to get mine booked in for some dyno runs in the next couple weeks - which should be interesting - will post on my website once complete.

Will also post some files I'm scanning for Graham - once they're done - I'll let you know - there's quite a few pages
