The EBC won't unlock any more power than your Dawes, just do it with a bit more control and finesse.
The fuel control alters the MAF signal to change fuelling and timing, but not independently of each other - see my thread http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...threadid=79227 for discussion.
Once you buy both you may as well buy an ECU like a Link the amount you spend, but arguably the AVC-R is going to give much more sophisticated and tightly controlled boost.

Chaz, I looked at these last year, and if you are contemplating spending taht sort of dough, then I think they are pretty cool.
RC developments do them as part of their "Stage 2" tune, and look to give some nice figures. And they can be moved from car to car.
