Classic Gearbox
Thanks for the reply it is listed in your attached list above the P1 MY99 UK,it is listed above this but does not list gear ratios.
Am i correct in saying that TY754 is a 8 bolt bellhousing.
VN is Briitsh
and 1AA is the gear ratios.
I cannot find the TY754VR1AA Gearbox there so i will double chack these numbers.
Thank You again forthe reply if you have more info it would be great.

Mike you need to put your glasses on next time BEFORE you try to do your reading (only jesting m8)
The first gearbox code is from as you stated in your title a 99 Classic (UK Model), the second from what i can find is from a Sport and should be a cable operated clutch from my findings as well.
from this info and from what i have read these boxes are not straight due to the clutch differences
Pretty sure the ratio's will be different to.
Dave
I'm sure if i've got the wrong someone will correct it but try doing a search for some info yourself, it's usually out there somewhere, all i done was put the second code into google.

As i said above that code is for an Impreza Sport and from what i can work out the sport has a cable clutch instead of hydraulic (maybe some of the techies could confirm this) so you should be able to tell by looking at the gearbox and the clutch fork.
