ok when the car is in any gear the gear stick sits tight in gear just as it should
but when in neutral it flaps around only left/right what keeps the gear stick in place between the 3rd and 4th place ie neutral where it should be instead of flapping left/right and can it be repaired

 

hmm i have same prob right is springy left just went sloopy ... someone on here will know im sure anyone??

mines the same but only sloppy on the left

 

found out its the spring that snaps or comes off iv been told its an easy fix
