hello
me and my mate are in the middle of building an engine for my classic its a 2l and we estimate the power to be around the 450bhp mark what i want to know is will the std 5 speed gearbox cope with the power. im replacing the clutch with more than likely an organic or if at the right price ill get a twin plate. but im building it on a budget so to speak and dont want to be paying 3 grand for a gearbox.
could anyone help out and also reccomend what to go for
