removing driveshaft from hub

Question removing driveshaft from hub

hi all,

ive managed to got my hub nut off and my driveshaft off the gearbox but im strugling to get the driveshaft out of the hub, am i missing anything or is my driveshaft just stuck in my hub and i need to giv it hell to get it out?

It should just push in and out, you may need to use a drift to remove it, just be careful not to round over any of the end of the thread or you wont get the drive shaft nut back on! When you refit, shove some copper grease on it so it does not get stuck again.

I thought you really needed a gear-puller for these. That's what I used anyhow.
