Default Rear / Centre Diff query

Help....
Ive looked through hundreds of pages and cant seem to find an answer to what I understand is possibly quite common?

I have a 94 WRX wagon and when driving it cold everything is fine but as soon as it heats up and I try to do any slow speed parking it feels like the rear brakes are locked on.
I think this is centre diff problem but am unsure how to change it or how easy/expensive??

Any help would be great as I have been told its quite common and not to worry, but would rather know for sure.
