Not so sure i like my 6 speed conversion
Just had a 6 speed fitted in my 2005 WRX and to be honest i'm not so sure i like it.
The car's running a quite heavily modded forged 2.5 fitted with a 20g.
I'm just constantly fitting myself off boost in the wrong gear the gear change is a bit wooden.
The New Exedy Hyper single clutch is like a gin trap and rattle's like a *******.
I had to pick up my Mrs mate and her small child and i must admit i felt embarrased my the amount of in cabin noise and the juddeing from the clutch.
You thoughts appreciated

The new ratios will just need getting used to.
As for the clutch, i didnt think the exedy single plates were ment to make any noise/judder - I thought it was the twin plates that made some noise.
If you do find the clutch to be rubish i would really recomend an act job. I cant comment on the power it takes at the mo as im still running in the car but the operation is smooth, quiet and isn't really any heavyer than the Exedy organic i had before. Its rated to 512 foot pounds of torque so should do ok.

Nice aren't they !
I can't quite accept that it should be SO noisy !
With that much torque I'd expect it to pull anyway, I have to stir mine as it's ONLY a 2.0
dunx
