Question

Checking under my bonnet today, I noticed what appears to be a screw thread at the end of what I think is the actuator rod.
I presume the actuator is the gold round pod like thing sticking out above the turbo with a rod going downwards and inwards towards the turbo. I have about 8mm of visible thread and then a thin nut. Does this adjust the boost in any way ? Asking because I have heard of others threading the actuator arm to raise the boost by compressing or uncompressing a spring.

May be talking rubbish, but would like to know...

Thanks, Colin...

The boost is under closed loop control so all that tightening it would do would increase the peak not held. so not point. I would get your car healthy first judging by your other thread.
