Can’t refit engine after clutch change!
I’ve just fitted a new Helix clutch and lightened Exedy flywheel. But just can’t get the engine back on the gearbox! There is a 12-15mm gap between them and no amount or wriggling and jiggling the engine will get it to slide back on.
What am I doing wrong? I’ve changed oem clutches on other subarus with no problems, they just slipped back on.
There’s a new release bearing on the clutch fork ready to click back on. Flywheel has a new spigot bearing.
Any tips would be much appreciated. Please help!
