Front Driveshafts for 2002 STi?
Hi Guys,
I'm quite new to Imprezas (2002 STi) and have just developed a knocking/clunking at the front end when pulling away at slow speed with lots of steering input at the wheel, so I'm guessing I've got a cv joint problem. A friend who's a mechanic is gonna look at it later to help me pinpoint what cv is at fault.
My questions are:
1) What year of STi driveshafts will fit my 2002 bugeye STi?
2) Are driveshafts sided? Can I buy any front driveshaft and fit it to either side?

I've just answered my own question.
In case anone else needs to know, the 2002-2006 6spd STi has a larger cv joint than the WRX, which would rule out one from any other year.
