You sure it's the prop? I had similar knocking when pulling away, Where the rear subframe/diff carrier bolts through a plate bush and into the floor the plate that covers the bush was slightly buckled causing the carrier to bang off it when pulling away.
Looks like someone had jacked the car upin the past on that plate.

It can surely only do that if the rear diff is sitting nose high, so I would concentrate on looking at the diff mounts, the front of diff 'T-bar' mounts are very soft and if someone has jacked on the bolt reinforcing plates and bent them up it would lift the nose of the diff.
