Default Gearbox notchy after track day

As per title, I took my 2000MY classic UK turbo on a track day at cadwell park on wednesday (great track I thought) and by the end of the day the gearbox had got really notchy. It seems particularly bad into 4th, but overall the shift is a lot more notchy and graunchy than before. Any thoughts anyone?

By the way, had new gearbox oil about 2 years ago, but clutch has done a lot of miles.

cheak the oil level on the box , bet its run low, gearbox oil level needs to be slightly overfilled especially for track days etc

I've checked the oil level, spot on full. I guess I'l have to try some expensive oil, and boy is that redline heavyweight shockproof oil expensive! over £15 / litre before VAT!
