Different turbo?

what is a vf03?
do you mean vf30?
if so, it has a smaller exhaust housing but can flow more air. It also has a brass bearing sleeve instead of a ball bearing.
This means it will not spool as quickly btu it does make it quite tough. Anti lag shouldnt be a problem.
If this is what you eman I would have thougth it would be a very interesting turbo to try, btu I am always dubious about turbo swappign without aftermarket ecu remapping. The standard ecu will cope to some extent, but it isnt ideal.

I stand corrected!
Chris in Regals has confirmed that he fitted a Vf30,
but its hard to tell any difference as I had a full
de-cat Jetex fitted at the same time, so it feels a lot
faster,(+Noisier!).
Are huge bangs normal?
john.
