Default Clunk at low speed.

Dear All,

i have noticed with window open, if I am driving at say 5 mph and slow stop to 0, there is a clunk like a solenoid moving a shaft etc. Anyone else noticed this?

Its a 2006 STI

Mine did this when i bought the car, ended being poorly fitted front brake pads. Would also do it when reverse then stopping.
They didnt half make a loud clunk!! thought something serious was wrong with the car, but all sorted now i got my Mintex 1155's fitted.

No idea what they were???
They were on the car when i bought it, i was told they were EBC Redstuff pads, but my mechanic told me they were just patent replacements.

Plus they used to squeal and squeak like mad once the car warmed up, but now i cant hear them at all.

When you fitted your, did you put plenty of copper grease on the back of them??
