My 2001 WRX is crunching going from third to fourth. But not fourth to third. I think its a syncro problem as if I change carefully its ok. Could I be lucky (very) and get away with an oil change or is it rebuild time. What is the average time for a decent mechanic to remove and replace an Impreza box.
I would much sooner have spent the money on a pair of arb,s but hey ho life goes on.
