can any one tell me were to find the reverse light switch on a 1997 impreza thanks Paul....

 

It's on the gear box, which I'm sure you knew. Think its more passenger side, but you'll see once you get under. I've always had a problem with mine, in that the lights only work when I'm holding it in reverse. Took the switch off and cleaned it up and it didn't help.
