Oh well
heres the story....
had the car rolling roaded a few weeks back and i was only pushing 224bhp but with a healthy 240lbs of torque now the car is an MY00 PPP'd turbo with a downpipe (scoobymania).
The graph looks great and as everyone has told me is exactly what the car should do except around 1000rpm higher up the rev range...
So, options are
a. dodgy BOV cos im loosing boost at 16psi and shes dropping back to 11 psi or...
b. ive a knackered boost solenoid...

anyone else had this problem??

Tony

PS, the car originally had 249bhp and 238lbs of torque

John,
she makes 4500 great then she looses power only producing 240lbs of torque at 3900 and max bhp at 5300rpm.
dunno if there is a pic of the graph on northern but will have a look.

regards
Tony

If the BOV is OK you could solve it with the Dawes and actuator tweak. Makes it a different car even compared with decat PPP. I'd do it for you but you are a little way away me being near Edinburgh.

Hi Tony,

The graphs are all with Bladerunner at the mo. He's converting them into computerised format for the dyno site.

Should be up fairly soon.

Why not try swapping your DV with someone else to see if it is that after all. Sure someone would let you, it's only a 10 minute job.

Cheers

Rich

Can you post the graph and a boost curve?

Does the boost go up to 16 and drop back to 11 straight away or is it dropping back at high revs? 11 is not that low at high revs.

I tightened my actuator as my car was only doing 257 at Star. Should be more like 265 now I reckon as it makes a good 1 PSI more at peak power point and feels a fair bit quicker. (add 25bhp to make PE figures, same RR as Powerstation).

Assuming all is working properly a boost controller would give you about 2-3 PSI more up top.
