Hey Guys

I am new to imprezas, i am starting a project soon using the running gear from a turbo impreza, and i am just wondering how easy it is to convert it to just rear wheel drive as from working it out with out measurements the engine will sit to far forward, any thoughts and help would be great?

Hi mate, I'm from herefordshire too. what's it going in? did there used to be any old subarus with the boxer engine that were rwd? if so maybe a box off one of them will fit?

Im pretty sure Wanatabe service make a center diff that you simply replace the stock on with. It changes it to RWD and when want AWD just change it back. Not sure if its newage only or both.

Cheers guys for both bits of info thats a great help, will measure up the 4wd system to see if it will fit and if not then rwd she will be,

I've got the engine out of mine at the moment if you haven't got one yet you could come over and measure mine up...
