STi v WR backbox?

Anybody know of the "performance" differences between an STi backbox and a WR Oval one at all?
Is it just cosmetic or is there more in it than that? I assume the STi one isn't stainless?
Any difference in "soundtrack" too?

Good question mate, I'm looking for the answer to this too. A presume you are talking about the new STi.
Guessing that it will raise the noise levels a bit, and look the dogs as well
Anyone else had this part fitted, or enquired about it...?

The STi BB is basically the same as a UK model with a different outlet pipe, is quiet and not very good.
The WR Sport and PPP BB's are stainless, give a slight power increase, nicer noise and improve driveability quite a bit.
Louder than standard but not as loud as a Magnex or Scoobysport. The other difference on the WR/PPP BB's is that they are quite civilised at low revs but get much louder ono boost/high revs (which is why I got one of these )
