Question

There must be a more efficient system for spraying the water on the intercooler, something (ie solid state circuitry) dependent on temp / pressure, rather than the mark 1 finger pressing the button!!, anybody got any knowledge of such a device?

Hi,

I brought such a device from MRT Rally. Easy to fit, has two pods on it which control the temperature and boost. These can be set to different thresholds, once the limit has been reached will start spraying the IC. Both limits must be met before water is jetted to the IC.This way only water is used when needed. There is a overide button which sprays water on demand. This can be used when sitting in traffic to bring down the temperature to a saturated level. Comes in handy when you just want to blast it.

Have the MRT one too.
It works like a charm.
It is such a simple device, you can probably build your own for $10.
