rite, when i dip and release the clutch pedal i get a strange whining noise and when i go to pull off and change gear the whine is louder. but it doesnt do it when ur driving along in gear. could the clutch cable be stretched and cause this or is definitly the bearing on its way out?

i got the same thing in my car... i reckon when the clutch was changed they didnt bother getting a new bearing... cutting corners... grrr...
