Hi

Where is the cat on a MY99 UK Turbo ?

Reason being, i've got a 3" Scoobymania backbox fitted, and was wanting to add the matching centre pipe. Is the cat in the downpipe section or the middle section ?

Plus, what i basically want to know is that if i fit a scoobymania centre pipe, will it still pass the emissions test of an MOT.

Thanks in advance
Kevin

Thumbs up

Hi Kev,

There are two cats, largest in the downpipe, remove this for better turbo pick up but you may not pass the test unless centre cat is really hot.Smaller cat in centre section, should pass test if this is just removed, come over to mine next week if you want as i will have my downpipe back on and you can have a drive. Also see the dawes thingy.

Cheers Paul
