Hey guys, i picked up another scoob at the weekend , its a 96 WRX Type RA

It has the I/C Water Spray and also a 3 way switch by the gearbox which apparently is the DCCD.

Can anyone explain the 3 settins please for

1 / Switch Pressed towards the Gearbox

2/ Switch in Center Position

The WRX RA didnt have DCCD so no idea what the switch is by your handbrake, DCCD uses a roller switch with a dash indicator.

haha , well i can see where the dash indicator should be, but it doesnt light up so i am guessing its not wired.

Intrseting though when messing with the switch and a roundabout, depending on the position of the switch i can get a noise under the car when turning tight into the roundabout? , but then i can change the switch and it doesnt happen? , was a kinda clunk sound lol

So my question is please, if you can humor me here imagine it wasnt a switch and was the roller button, what are the settings please when its in the middle , pushed forward, or rolled back towards hand brake.

Cheers

The OE DCCD controller uses 6 settings to control the centre diff, diff free to fully locked and 4 settings in between. I cant see how a 3way toggle switch(which it seems like you have) can replicate this even with an aftermarket controller.

Well the clunk is more than likely locked. First time I drove a DCCD car it was in lock position and I thought I'd killed the 'box
