Question AP racing sti clutch uprated further?

Hey there,

Has anyone modified a std sti clutch and uprated it? By that I mean the clutch springs to give more bite force?
I was wondering if my AP Racing organic 6 speed sti clutch will take 500 ft/lb or poss little more with uprated springs? Anyone done this?

I don't think you'll have much luck

There's no organic single plate clutch that'll hold 500 ft lbs You're very definitely into ceremetallic territory there. We have a car running 509 hp /493 ft lbs on the strip on a single plate AP Racing ceremetallic. Never a murmur from it.

Call me and l'll explain how.
