Default My Clutch Died! Need advice on replacement clutch options...

I'm running 330ftlb (343bhp) at the moment and i will be at about 360ftlb (375bhp)before the year is out. I want a clutch that is going to easily handle this sort of power, and last upto say 400bhp as i won't be changing the internals.

Can anyone recommend me a clutch?

How are the exedy single plate organics? are they heavy duty enough to handle 400bhp?

Ive just had the exedy organic clutch put in mine, and the tuner that put it in says it is supposed to cope with the power levels you mentioned. It feels very much like the oe clutch aswell in terms of stiffness

its looking as though its going to be the AP or Exedy single plate organics and a lightened flywheel.

Could anyone recommend any brand over the other?

Yes, I broke the centres out of 2 AP's at Circa 360bhp. I bought a second hand Exedy uprated organic to "get me by" and it lasted 30,000 miles before it started slipping.

So in my opinion the Exedy is the one.
