Is the gearbox in the rb5 any differant to the standard uk turbo gearbox?

No mate, exactly the same as UK box. Im removing mine next week to fit a six speed box though

 

is it a big job to do?

 

Not too bad mate as far as i know but costly!!

You are looking at around £2000 for the 6 speed gearbox, linkage and auto prop-shaft to fit the classic (the automatic prop-shaft is shorter than the normal prop shaft)

 

think i will stick wid the standard box
