Poss gearbox/clutch fault, help required
Hi there, new on the forum. Posting on behalf of my cousin (Marco_pollo on here.)
Had his car at Crail on Sunday, after sitting in a few runs in my 172 he decided to run his R plate Turbo Wagon UK spec. I told him not launch too hard so he didnt, launched around 2k. Shifted through 1st and 2nd. Then nothing car would not select any gears. after being towed off the strip i had a quick look over and couldnt see anything out of place. After leaving it for around an hour it seems to have fixed itself, now selecting all gears.
Any idea what this could be. I was thinking low box oil/clutch fluid, but im grabbing at straws here.
Im more used to French Crap than these Jap monsters, but im handy with a spanner.
Any help would be much appreciated.
