IYHO Best replacement for TY752VB3FA GearBox
Just getting a feel from those of you who have been in a situation where you either repair your box or buy a second hand one.
ive read previous posts and they tend to say keep the middle gear ratio the same but get shorter ratios for the starting gears for better acceleration?
what box would reflect this and is it a good idea?
Your Opinions please

IMHO you already have the best option with regards ratio spacing.
I tried an RA box but it was silly always changing gear, dont get me wrong it felt real fast but the truth is, it wasnt! It lasted a month in the car before i sold it on.
I found the best option was to go for a TY755VN1AA, its got an oil cooler option as std which is great if you do trackdays, if your not bothered in can be looped out real easy.
Also its a late type casing, the same/similar as a TY754 so has the stronger gearset too.
As its not out of an impreza its no doubt had a very much easier time. lol
Downsides are you need to make provision to mount the starter motor, as the box doesnt have the mounting stud as per original, i made my own version though, some tap it and fit a different bolt (it would be the same job on a TY754).
The last thing is the speedo is a little out too, even with fitting the original drive gear, but thats no big deal to me.
Let me know if you need any other info.
