Default Clutch differences??

What if any would be the difference between a 99 Uk turbo 2000 clutch and an 2001-2004 Wrx?
Is there any difference in size??
Would the latter clutch fit the classic?

Reason for asking is can obtain a Spec Stage 3 clutch to fit a 2001-2004 Wrx from the states but they only list the above..

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Andy.

2001-2004 clutch will fit. As you are going for stage 3 you'll want a uprated forged flywheel too.

Might be worth looking into Spec clutches a bit more though:

Got the a flywheel from you already, i'm assuming it will handle the job!?

Yeah ive been reading alot of varying reports, but none over here.

I think its the same for alot of the others too, killed my Exedy in less than a year could be down to the power hike but was expecting a little longer on it..
Thought about ACT too but had one on my old civic and really didnt like it and that never stood up to the abuse!

Have been looking at RPS and Spec and i can get a pretty good deal on the Spec so will prob go for that if it defo fits!??
