Default Multi plate clutch advice

Hi there, has anyone got any experience with multi plate clutches??

Im looking at trading my impreza in for an sti type r, the one I'm looking at has a multi plate paddle clutch in it.

The problem is when you depress the cluth peddle it makes a strange rattleing noise (almost like something is spinning), but it definatly rattles!

Is this the normal sound a multi plate clutch makes or does it sound like theres something wrong??

Cheers for any help guys.

It's normal. The centre plate is free floating, and does rattle when the peddle is pressed down.
