HKS SSBOV - adjustment advice?
Hi all,
Got my HKS SSBOV today.. they are huge!
Well, fitted it with out too much issue, but got a couple of queries:
- what are the cable ties for - ie. which cables??
- Mine appears to have the purple diaphram in it - is that the loud one?
- Is it clock wise or anti clock wise to stiffen the spring rate?
- would there be a benefit to having as short as possible bit of rubber hosing between the unit and the adaptor (due to the OEM hosing being bigger than the HKS mount point)??
Cheers, Alex

Hi Alex,
the gold insert is termed the 'louder' of the two although I dont think it is. It sounds more like a high pitched shrill!
I'm not sure about the cable ties, I didn't use them. And I can't help with the spring either as TDi stated that I should leave it well alone?? Why would you want to alter it?
