As anyone tried one of these clutches, are there any good

Bumcrack,
Don't be a cheap skate it will proberbly cost you more in the long run. Either go for a Helix organic, I have one of these and it's excellent, or an AP clutch.

Used an EBC clutch on my bike and it was far superior to the OEM part but then EBC brakes seem good on bikes yet they get a bit bad press re fitting to Scoobs.
I'd go for the AP organic as I've not heard a bad word about them
