Advice on Scoobysport Exhaust
#1
I am very tempted to fit a new centre, and rear box on my MY01, getting rid of 2 cats, and also getting an ITG panel filter.
For those of you that have done this, please could you tell me if it is money well spent, and how much more power you got from the mod.
Also how do you think this compares to PPP ?
Cheers,
Olly.

Ah,
That was another question.
I still want it to pass MOT's and emmissions tests, so with that in mind I will need to leave at lest 1 cat in. So is it best to get a DP, and BB, or leave the original DP, and only change the center and BB ????
I understand that you get some good characteristics from the DP, is this true ??

On my MY01 I have the PPP and the ScoobySport up/down/center/decatted with an ITG and together they all work very nicely, not sure of bhp exactly, but 260/270 is likely.
I would say that best value for money is the ScoobySport route, but depends how concerned you are about the warranty and how flexible your dealer is regarding mods.
The PPP does transform the car but at £1800 for a backbox/ecu/pipework its damn expensive, but it passes the MOT and its warranty friendly.
I do 1000 miles a week and if you asked me this question in 12 months time I could give you more of an insight, but as I've only done about 1500 miles with the car decatted its too early to say for sure if its worth doing.Although my dealer is helpful and I feel they would be sympathetic towards me if a warranty problem was to appear.
