Metal Filings from the Gearbox
Evening
Having removed my car from the garage this morning, I can see on the floor what looks to be gearbox oil. I have taken to car into my local garage to get this looked at on the ramps. When underneath the car I can see metal filings around the driveshaft (Front left) passenger side as you look at the car, the gearbox seems fine, finds every gear....doesn’t sound to good when slowly down in 3rd gear.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Is there any way of fixing it, or would it be a new gearbox?
Thanks for your help
