Hi all can anyone tell me how much louder it will be compared to
just a ss backbox which is on my P1 now . If it is to loud would it
be better to put the sti b/b back on ; or put the centre section
back on and leave the ss b/b on for the best balance of sound and
perforance thanks RBC

RBC,

From my experience so far in this you are better taking a ride in a car that already has one fitted.

Some peoples definitions of 'Loud' or 'Quiet' can be vastly different.

For example, Burr on this bullitin board is currently selling his magnex 6"x4" backbox because it is too loud. Where as I'm am going to sell the same backbox because I think it is too quiet. LOL!

In a nutshell, you won't get a definitive answer.

Damian.

RBC,

When I had the SS DP & Mid added it made it a bit louder at idle and a lot louder on the gas ! Sounds good though and unless you do a lot of motorway miles you should be fine. I think some companies do a sound-proofing kit.

Thanks for your comments guys . spen555 i know what you mean about
loud ,as i dont think the ss b/b is loud but others do . I have
already bough the d/p and mid to go with the b/b . I think it will
be ok but if i get to much stick from the misses i wondered if refitting the sti b/b or refitting the mid which would give best
balance for nice sound and performance
