Question

Should I get a decat SS up-pipe fitted at the same time as I get my decat SS DP for my MY01 ?

Will this cause my CEL to come on ?

SS decat centre to follow soon after but can't afford to do them all at the same time. Already have the TSL BB.

The up-pipe I gather is quite a big job and if you are getting that done it makes sense to do the downpipe at the same time.

Scoobysport have or will soon have a black box to stop the CEL apparently.

Obviously you have thought about emissions if you remove all the cats. Also consider your backbox carefully as the main determinant of noise levels and decide what noise "profile" you want.

125£ ex. VAT for the uppipe at SS. :-)
Must be availlable at this time.

85£ ex. VAT at GGR.
Be carefull there is 2 kind of uppipes at GGR.
1 with the sensor boss (the good one) and 1 w/out.
A friend of mine ordered the wrong. :-(
GGS1119 is the good part #

If you are thinking of doing both, definitely do them together. As John said, you have to remove the DP to get at the nuts holding the UP on. So the DP swap is effectively foc

Our UP is more than some others, but it does have the EGT probe socket and the top flange is threaded for OE studs. Some are just drilled to take bolts. You can fit these with bolts, but it is a much harder job.

Thanks. I'll give SS a ring in the morning and get them to quote me for the up-pipe.

Anyone got an idea of price for this ?
How much louder you reckon its gonna be ?
