'Throaty' Exhaust for an MY94?
#1
Hey all,
Damn, no Search. Gotta ask this question (for millionth time no doubt).
Can anyone recommend an exhaust system they have had fitted that sounds nice and throaty on an MY94 2000 Turbo? Something that sounds like the Prodrive one on the UK300.
Many thanx

Some people find the Magnex to be a little too quiet, I know I did.
The ScoobySport exhausts are liked very much by the peeps on this BBS, I ran one for a while, v nice noise.... but not loud enough for me...
HKS Hiper is the next step up from scoobysport in terms of volume, the loudest on the market as far as I am aware is the BPM Twister3 Backbox
I have owned each of these exhausts, my fave is the HKS Hiper, fantastic noise, great power increases, pops, bangs and flames
The one I most enjoyed was the BPM, it is nothing short of breathtaking!!!! I just LOVE the noise it made.... everyone else didnt though!

blackbeast (MY94 WRX Wagon) has a loud, but throaty sound, it's running a BPM Twindump downpipe, connected to a Apexi N1 center and backbox combo, 3" all the way through. Like I said, loud, but throaty.
