My STi 2 was used as the donor car for the first ever Black Diamond Scooby exhaust last week It is stainless steel, fitted no problem and the quality is excellent. The bore is about 1/4 inch more than the STi system that came off and the flanges are about twice as thick. And the important thing is that it sounds great! In exchange for a free exhaust I promised that I would attempt to organise a group buy at a 'very attractive' introductory price. If anyone is interested please let me know.
