BMC filters
#1
My friend wants to sell me a BMC induction kit, which he has never used. I know the brand's reputation, but has anyone any experience with BMC products in Imprezas (mine is a standard MY00, soon to be PPP'd)?

Never heard of BMC , are they native to Hungary or such like.
Couple of things re MY99/00 induction kits, there have been numerous cases of the MAF sensor failing after induction kits have been fitted. Exact cause not known aothough there are several favourite theories. Oil contamination, vibration & increased/direct airflow causing failure, try a search of Scoobynet for more info
Hope this helps

There has been another tread on BMC filters. They are manufactured in Italy and ysed my several F1 teams. BMC mainly do filters for bikes, but has started to deliver to cars.
