Default clutch not returning

i have recently changed my gear box fits fine however when dipping the clutch it is not returning back, i have a wrx 1995 and this is an hydraulic damper!! ne help greatly appreciated cheers

have you fitted your clutch return spring? where the clutch slave cylinder is? is your folk located in the release bearing?

the spring is fitted although the fork could have slipped, could the clutch need bleeding..??

if you take the rubber boot away from the clutch fork. and have a look to see if the fork is in between the release bearing. it shouldnt need bleeding unless you have open into the system

i will check that asap mate thanks, although i noticed that there wasnt any fluid in the clutch reservoir!!!!!!
filled up with new fluid but there could be air in there!

Mine did that for ages... When I took the motor out, I found that the centre bearing for the flywheel (what the gearbox input shaft sits in) was in squiffy.
Sounds like yours is a more simple cause, but this info may be useful to someone....

i sorted out my issue here, the fork slipped!! not good, i re-stripped the box and re-connected the fork onto the bearing..now it works dream haha..!
