have you fitted your clutch return spring? where the clutch slave cylinder is? is your folk located in the release bearing?

whitescoob95 15 July 2008 06:49 PM

the spring is fitted although the fork could have slipped, could the clutch need bleeding..??

thanks

if you take the rubber boot away from the clutch fork. and have a look to see if the fork is in between the release bearing. it shouldnt need bleeding unless you have open into the system

let me know how u get on .....

thanks

i will check that asap mate thanks, although i noticed that there wasnt any fluid in the clutch reservoir!!!!!!
filled up with new fluid but there could be air in there!

Mine did that for ages... When I took the motor out, I found that the centre bearing for the flywheel (what the gearbox input shaft sits in) was in squiffy.
Sounds like yours is a more simple cause, but this info may be useful to someone....

i sorted out my issue here, the fork slipped!! not good, i re-stripped the box and re-connected the fork onto the bearing..now it works dream haha..!
