hi all
have a bit of trouble with the joining the DP and centre section as on the CS isn't a beding for the gasket.
I've used a paste but 'cos of the movement ( i think) it got loose and now it's blowing
any idea whether there is a gasket for not beded pipe?
P.S. yes i don't speak english so if any terms are wrong my appologies

Hi Velryba.
The downpipe to front-of-the-centre section connection is a flexible joint (to allow for engine movement) and hence is not designed to have a fixed gasket or joint paste used on it.
Instead the cone shaped graphite coloured fibre gasket on the end of the downpipe forms it's seal as it wedges itself into the flared front end of the centre section.
I guess that the gasket you are using is knackered as your centre section is quite new as I recall?
Neil.

well neil
i know about that but the prob is that the cone gasket wont sit in as the middle section has a sharp edges so basicly there is no space for the gasket.
has anyone sort that out?
