Gearbox noise
Recently fitted a new clutch and lightweight flywheel and filled the box up with Castrol Driveline oil.
Since fitting there has been some strange noises.
Difficult to describe, here goes, when driving along I can hear a very slight
ssssssssssssssssssssss sort of noise, if I put it into neutral whilst moving It gets louder, gearchanges are smooth and there are no other issues except a little more noise on overrun which has progressively got a little noisier,I suspect that the propshaft bearing is on its way out.
Just wondered if these noises are down to fitting a lightweight flywheel or something on the gearbox that needs looked at.
