I have a 1995 wrx import with 330 bhp and 320 ish lb/ft. My gearbox packed up last night (3rd is out of bounds as it crunches) I need a new box but have heard a 754 box would be ok, what are the limits on this box? Also what would I need to put it in my car (diff prop etc)? Or is it a straight in job? Any help will be grately accepted

The 754 casings are stronger than the 752 you had in yours.

You will probably have a 4.11:1 rear diff which means if you fit say an STI 754 box you will need the rear diff also.

Don't know about limits on the box though.

The TY754 can handle close to 400 lb/ft if taken care of.

Am running just over 400 lb/ft and broke 2nd in the First Box after just 200 miles (tryed a full throttle shift), then just chewed up third after approx 2000 miles on the second box, am now on box number 3 and have done about 500 miles, when this one goes the PPG kit is going in!!!

will i need the prop and driveshafts as well or just the box?
also how much should i expect to pay for a 754 box?

i have been offered a 754 by grade a subaru and they reccon it will go straight in my car without the rear diff, is this true as it is a cheap fix if it does
