Lightweight Flywheel.. amazing mod!!!!
#3
Something I've wondered about these things (as I fancy one myself):
because it spins up quicker, it should slow down quicker, so does it make it really jerky on lift off?
Does it also make it harder to drive in traffic?
Curious before I take the plunge.
Cheers

I got my fly wheel taken down to 7.5Kgs from just over 11.5Kgs by scoobysport, aparently 7.5 is the optimum.
The car rev a lot faster now, if I get it wrong then its a bit jerky, but the clutch was fubar so now on the new clutch I'm being very gentle, I have found i need a few more revs than I used to to get moving in slow trafic, but I'm glad I had it done.

I've got a lightened flywheel, don't know what weight, but it does stall a lot easier now, especially when the wife drives it . I don't find it any jerkier than before though. Sometimes the engine dies when you dip the clutch, which is a bit of a bugger when you are trying to turn into your drive (with a brick pillar either side).
