Can some one tell me if the 2 engines are the same and if all the tuning goodies for the impreza turbo will fit the legacy turbo, like the dump valves, induction kits etc.

hi mate, the engines are the same, both EJ20G type.
induction kits are the same, but as the inner wings are different, the support bracket is different, but easily make one yourself. exhaust downpipe and centre section is same as impreza, but backbox is slightly different. as for dump valves, you only need a short pipe to fit it onto the original takeoff, and just block off the hole on the intake pipe where the standard dump valve recirculates to.

Hi ian, thanks for your answer. I have seen a few of your posts that you have put on the net I take it that you are rebuilding your legacy. What have you done to it to up the power, if anything, as I also have a legacy turbo estate and I would be grateful for any advice that you have for upping the power, it has a s/s zorst, a blitz sus induction kit and an "ABC superchip" fitted to it already but I am not sure if the chip is doing anything.
