Question

Had my STi V MY99 serviced 8 weeks ago & am now experiencing rear diff whine/low squeal at speeds of between 80-85mph, above or below no noise experienced, noise sounds like when you change to different road surfaces, any ideas, I wondered if a different viscosity of oil in rear diff would cause this??

Regards

Wink

I suggest not going 80-85mph,and stick to the national limit of 70mph in doing so will cure all your problems!!!

Nah,i thought a worn diff made a noise at all times,well did on my cossie,but then i am running c o n s i d e r a b l y more BHP than you!Your probably find your wheels need balancing..LOL.
