Centre section and noise.....
#1
Need to make the scoob a tad louder (sure you can all relate to that!). I have a ppp but i'm sure from the looks of it that the centre section is silenced even though the cat has gone. The question is will changing this item for a scoobysport or scoobymania centre make any difference??
I don't really want to change the backbox if i don't have to and want to keep it roadlegal so im not going to de-cat it either.

I would imagine swapping any section that have baffles in with one that doesn't will make it louder. Don't know by how much though. PPP just remove the cat but the box is still there. Its quite cheap for a px see scoobtsport. If you get no response why not give them a ring and ask their opinion?

If you want it really loud - Blitz Nur Spec. Put one on my PPP yesterday afternoon with still the baffled centre and it would wake the dead. Magnex 6x4 is apparently a few clicks down from this! None my cup of tea, but good for a while. You may also get more boost unless you are using closed loop control (which you probably are if you have PPP). See the other thread in Drivetrain about the little test. This suggests to me the backbox is the most determinant on the sound.
