Anyone had good or bad experiences of the Blitz? I'm already running one (not on an Impreza) and it sounds lovely but after reading a group test using microscopic ink particles the APEXi filter offers much finer filtration.
(in the same test the HKS Megaflow does very badly)
Just wondered if anyone has had an engine go pop or wear prematurely as a result of running a Blitz? Or is there nothing to worry about in the real world.

Ta.

Question

I believe most people steer clear of blitz on the impreza due to what you've said.. and from what gets said in drivetrain/general mechnical...

PS. strange first post

Trawled your Drivetrain threads. Seem to be a few peeps running the Blitz quite happily but a few who have blown the apparantly fragile MAF sensor with anything but the K&N. Oh well. Anyone tried the APEXi ?

And strange first post? er...OK. Hello to everyone and thanks for any advice in advance.

I've done 8,000 odd miles with my Blitz kit now and still

There was someone on one of the other threads that had problems with the HKS recently though, I've not seen that many people with Blitz problems!

Here it is: (Found the thread while browsing so thought I'd edit)

Pleased to see a couple of happy owners. I think I'll keep it on for now.

OK so I got it wrong.. when ever I've mentioned blitz to anyone as far as induction goes, they've slated it..

As for my comment, no offence meant.. we've just had a run of newbies singing the praises of various products.. can look odd.
